About to play Payday 2 for the first time
My buddy and I are about to try out Payday 2. Neither of us have played a Payday game before, so it’ll be an interesting time. I’ll be streaming on Twitch if you want to tune in. I don’t know a lot about Payday, other than it’s a cooperative game where you have to pull of heists (I think?). We’ll see how I like it.

So I didn’t get to stream FFVIII tonight like I wanted. We went skiing and I spent the last two hours creating a ski movie from my GoPro footage. Sorry!

Gumballs Plays: Hearthstone 001
I tried out Hearthstone for the first time today and I have to say it’s been enjoyable so far. Hearthstone is a trading card battle game similar to Magic, but Warcraft themed. It’s easier to understand and get into when compared to the Magic games I’ve played (2013 and 2014) and I’m looking forward to getting further into it. Hearthstone will be released sometime next year and will be free to play across various platforms.

I hope you’re enjoying your holiday morning so far. We’re out of bed and getting ready to get together with my girlfriend’s family for breakfast. I’m thankful for all the wonderful people I get to spend Christmas with out here in Idaho as my family celebrates in Pennsylvania. Right now I’m listening to Sirius XM’s The Coffee House which is featuring acoustic Christmas songs which is quite relaxing and joyful. Have a good morning, and Merry Christmas!

Playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
I’ve only played about two hours of Zelda in my life, shared between the 20 minutes I spent with Ocarina of Time back when it first came out (I couldn’t figure it out), A Link to the Past (got stuck) and Skyward Sword (got distracted and never progressed far at all).
With this extra time off for Christmas I decided to give Ocarina of Time another try and stream it to Twitch. Initially I got to the first boss (Gohma) and got destroyed. I couldn’t figure out exactly what I was supposed to do and the 3 minions that it spawned ended up killing me. When I respawned at the beginning of the level (Inside the Deku Tree) I thought I’d have to do the entire sequence over again and decided to quit. Fortunately it turns out you can just jump down the holes and go back to the boss chamber to try again.
My second attempt was much more successful and I got further into the game than I ever have before. It’s been enjoyable so far, but I think in the long run I’ll get easily frustrated and probably won’t finish. Anywho, you can view my second session below.
